As a commercial photographer specializing in brands and product photography, I recently had the pleasure of working with Maria, the visionary behind HESS STREET FOODS. Maria's new consumer brand brings to life a chorizo paste made from a recipe that has been passed down through generations of her family. This project was especially meaningful to me, as Maria and I both come from the vibrant city of Monclova, Mexico.

Maria's passion for preserving her family's culinary heritage shines through every jar of her chorizo paste. Her goal is to share the rich, authentic flavors of traditional Mexican cuisine with the world. With this in mind, we set out to create a series of photographs that would do justice to her brand's story and the quality of her product.

Personal Branding Photography

We began with a personal branding session, capturing images of Maria that she can use for various publications and her website. These photographs aimed to highlight Maria's dedication, warmth, and the personal connection she has with her product. By showcasing Maria in her element, we were able to tell the story of a passionate entrepreneur who is deeply rooted in her cultural heritage.

Product Photography for E-Commerce

This approach is ideal for e-commerce, as it allows customers to see the product clearly and in detail. The chorizo paste, with its rich color and texture, stood out beautifully against the simple background. These images will serve as a key component of Maria's online store, making it easy for customers to get a clear view of what they are purchasing.
