ABOUT LUCERO
Lucero Valle Ortiz is an Austin-based Brand Creative Director and commercial photographer specializing in editorial, campaigns, and brand storytelling for leaders, founders, and changemakers.
She leads Lucero Creative — a culture-driven, bilingual creative firm with over 20 years of experience in photography, branding, and creative direction. The studio adapts to every project: from intimate portraits to full-scale productions with makeup artists, stylists, assistants, and video crews.
Lucero's background in marketing means her work goes beyond beautiful visuals — she builds intentional visual identities that connect brands with their audiences and drive real impact. Clients include the City of Austin, Dell, Amplify Credit Union, Vera Bank, and leaders across Texas.
Originally from Mexico and raised around her family's photography studios, Lucero brings a rare combination of cultural depth, design thinking, and editorial eye to every project. Alongside her commercial work, she develops art projects exploring identity and resilience — including Resilient Hearts, a City of Austin grant-supported portrait series celebrating mothers raising children with diverse abilities.
